It is the source of life, and life is sacred. Life is man's most precious possession. Why then should not the fountain of life be most highly esteemed and reverenced? Sex channels life from the hands of God to the infant in the crib. Sex channels life from the hands of God in heaven back into the Heart of God in heaven! Sex channeled life from the hands of God to YOU. No one has ever entered life except through sex. God's angel announced that Christ was the fruit of a womb. By his birth Christ sanctified sex. Christ said: "Blessed are the clean." In other words: "Sacred is sex." For the married, Christ wrapped sex in the "wedding garment" of a sacrament. He did this because the purpose and proper use of sex are so splendid and noble. In a way, sex is divine. By means of sex a person partakes of the power of God. "You are Gods!" says the Psalm. (82/6.) By means of sex, men and women, like God, become creators. They create "fruit of their lives, their bodies, which lives through eternity. Sex is the "occasion" which God uses for the making of immorality. Thus the purpose or end of sex is in heaven. The most noble physical faculty of man or woman is the sexual one. A child cannot be made by the eye or the mouth or the hand or the heart. No other human faculty can create new life. Only sex can. Sex faculties are the most sacred of bodily faculties. We measure their sacredness by their purpose. Sex is sacred. It is intimately bound up with love. God is love! (1 John 4/8.) Sex must mirror divine purity. It must be reverenced. It reflects the light and life of heaven. Sex abused is called by the ugly word of "lust". Lust is of the devil. It is darkness and hell. Love sanctifies. Lust damns. Two persons lusting together, damn each other! This is the way (they say) they "prove" their "love"! Love is Christ-hearted. Lust is monster-ridden. Sex is sacred. It is worth protecting like a pearl of great price. It is worth maxi-skirting with the garment of modesty. Keeping sex pure is worth any sacrifice. Keeping it sacred is worth dying for. It is not meant to be flaunted. It is not an instrument of seduction. It is not a plaything. It is not meant to be abused. It is not meant to be wallowed in. It is not meant to be sold for a foolish kiss. It is not meant to be traded for a can of beer. Sex controlled, makes a man. Sex unspotted, makes a woman. Sex is sacred! Keep it sacred! Help others sanctify sex.
